All grants & feed-in tariff schemes are administered by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services (REWS).

Our advisors will guide you on which you would benefit most from depending on your consumption patterns. Our internal administration team will then take care of all the paperwork from beginning to end thereby greatly simplifying the process.

The current grant options are as follows:

PV Systems and battery storage:

Option A

PV system with standard solar inverter: 50% refund of eligible costs up to a maximum of €2,500 per system and €625/kWp.

Option B

PV system with hybrid inverter: 50% refund of eligible costs up to a maximum of €3,000 per system and €750/kWp.

Option C

Hybrid/Battery inverter and battery: 80% refund of eligible costs of the Battery Storage up to a maximum of €3,600 per system and €600/kWh plus 80% refund of eligible costs of the Hybrid inverter up to a maximum of €1,800 per system and €450/kWp.

Option D

Option D – Battery Storage only: 80% refund of eligible costs of the Battery Storage up to a maximum of €3,600 per system and €600/kWh.

In the case of a PV Grant, any units which are exported to the grid are sold at a fixed feed-in tariff rate of 10c5 for the duration of the full Grant term i.e. 20 years.

Heat pumps for domestic water heating

In case of acceptance, applicants are refunded 50% of the costs of the Heat Pump Water Heater itself, including VAT, and capped at €1000

FEED-IN TARIFF

An alternative option to the PV Grant is the Feed-in tariff (FIT) option which does not involve receiving any refunds however offers a better tariff when exporting to the grid.
Currently the selling rate for a new FIT is 15c per unit fixed for 20 years which is especially beneficial for properties that have a larger number of units being exported daily.

REPAYMENT SCHEMES

We also the possibility of repayment over a 3-year period with an affordable monthly payment plan which in most cases closely matches the savings being made by the system. We can also guide you on other available bank loans with longer repayment plans.
